Student Life Center Update
After many years of dreaming, praying, planning and giving
toward a new multi-purpose facility on campus, Eugene Bible
College is now moving into action! We are preparing to build
our new Student
Life Center, which will include the following features:
- A College-size gymnasium for recreation, athletics,
and campus events
- Locker Rooms for men and women
- An exercise room for use by the College community
- A Worship auditorium for chapels, and to house drama
and music events
- Classroom and storage space for our drama department
- An Open Bible Churches-sponsored Heritage Center and
archives facility
- Additional offices and classrooms
Please refer to this page often for regular updates on
our progress as we see the Student Life Center dream become
a reality. Here are some specific areas of progress for
your information:
- In July 2005 a conditional use permit was granted by
the City of Eugene
- In September 2005 a building permit application was
submitted to the City of Eugene
- As of July 2006 cash, pledges and foundation grants
have been received totaling nearly 2 million dollars

We are looking forward to an exciting year on campus during
the 2006-07 college year as we anticipate the fulfillment
of this dream. We still have several thousand dollars to
raise to finish this campaign well. Can you help us? We
would be honored to receive your participation as we utilize
these new facilities to help us to fulfill our mission of
equipping students for Spirit-empowered leadership and ministry.
If you can assist us through a gift of cash, or property,
or stocks, or in another way, we would be glad to hear from
you. Feel free to call 541-485-1780 and ask for executive
assistant Freida Arns, or email her at freidaa@ebc.edu.
God bless you today!
