Master Esthetician Washington – Online Learning

Download  To date, we are still waiting to hear   about the proposed rules.

I eager as I am interested to launch our Master Esthetic Program.

As education and licensing is evolving, one of the ideas I have been thinking about is online training.

Although statute doesn’t allow for our industry to give credit at this current time, there are many other educational sectors that that have embraced it.   With the Master Esthetic requirements, I think it would be interesting to have a small component where we could train online. Currently, the state requirements do not allow for credit to be given for online training, rather credit is assigned by hours logged, or otherwise known as ‘seat time.’

I am not suggesting that all the requirements be given online, but some components can be;  theory hours, safety and sanitation testing, procedural understanding, etc.

There would still be a classroom component, however it could be offset  by some individual training that would give licensed estheticians more flexibility.

It’s definitely worth a thought.

What are your thoughts?  Do you like it?  Hate it?  Not care?   Write me a comment and I promise to respond.
