There are days in school that you remember forever — and March 30, 2026 was one of them.
Evergreen Beauty College students from every campus came together at Renton Technical College for the Show Off Event, a full-day competition where students went head-to-head across nine events, representing their campuses with everything they had. We had nine competitions, hundreds of students, and 9 campuses. Which campus do you think won it all?
What the Show Off Event Is All About
The Show Off Event isn’t just a competition, it’s a celebration. It’s the moment when everything students have been learning in class, in the salon, at the nail table, and in front of the mirror gets to shine in front of an audience.
Every EBC campus sent its best: Bellingham, Mount Vernon, Everett, North Seattle, Renton, Olympia, and Yakima. And the energy in that room? You could feel it the second you walked in.
The Nine Competitions

Students competed across every corner of the beauty world:
Brains Over Beauty challenged competitors on their knowledge of beauty theory, history, and industry know-how. At EBC, being skilled means being knowledgeable too.
Team Editorial put creativity and collaboration front and center, as teams worked together to recreate the iconic looks of legendary celebrities. Style, precision, and teamwork all on the line at once.
Fantasy Makeup was exactly what it sounds like, a completely unbound imagination. Students brought characters, concepts, and worlds to life using nothing but brushes, pigment, and vision.
Long Commercial Cut showcased students’ ability to execute clean, polished haircuts on long hair. The kind of work clients trust you with every single day.
Fade Cut puts precision under pressure. A flawless fade requires patience, a steady hand, and a deep understanding of how hair behaves. Every millimeter counts.
Pinks and Whites brought out EBC’s nail talent with the classic pink and white acrylic, a foundational skill that separates the careful from the careless.
Braids by Design honored the artistry of braiding, where students demonstrated technique, creativity, and cultural knowledge woven into every strand.
Creative Nail Art left jaws on the floor. Students created miniature masterpieces on the tiniest canvases. Nail art was so detailed and inventive it had to be seen to be believed.
Elegance Reimagined closed out the competition categories with looks that were refined, sophisticated, and absolutely stunning. Students proved that true beauty can be timeless.
The Winner Is…
At the end of the day, every competition win added up… and when the scores were tallied, North Seattle Campus claimed the top spot.
Congratulations to Evergreen Beauty College’s North Seattle campus for bringing home the #1 title. The drive, the preparation, and the teamwork that went into that win didn’t happen overnight. It happened in every early morning, every late practice session, every time a student decided to push a little harder.
To every campus that competed: you showed up, you gave everything, and you made EBC proud. That matters just as much.
