Diary of a Cosmetology Student at Bellevue Campus

kelsey blog

Guest speaker at the Bellevue campus.

So November is almost over, meaning I am finishing up my second month in the cosmetology program. This month we focused on manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing and makeup. This has been my favorite bit so far, because having healthy skin and nails is an important foundation for any beauty look. We’ve been practicing everything we have learned on each other, which is so much fun!

We also had the pleasure of having a guest speaker come in and do a makeup demo for us! It is so exciting listening to a pro in the industry share her stories and tips. We all felt very inspired while we were watching her perform her makeover magic. Since I would love to eventually become a makeup artist, I soaked up all of her suggestions, tricks and advice like a sponge! I am so happy I made the choice to come to Evergreen, everyday I am in class I become more determined to succeed in the beauty industry, and have a blast while doing it!
